SEGA have revealed a whole host of new details for Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X including a batch of new screenshots, new gameplay details, the reveal of the games opening song, and last but not least, a release date for the upcoming rhythm title.
First up we have some new details on the games Live Quest mode, which is broken down into 5 different areas, “Neutral,” “Cute,” “Cool,” “Beauty,” and “Chaos.” The mode is newly confirmed to have a home base, where players will be able to communicate with Hatsune Miku and her friends and discuss the events of the story with the characters.
The Neutral area of this mode will also allow players to take on quests, these are mini games with clear outlines and goals presented to the player before they start, with goals being dynamic depending on what items you equip.
SEGA have also revealed that the games opening theme song will be “Tsumi no Namae” (Name of the Crime) which was written by Ryo, who is a member of Japanese band Supercell. You can hear a sample of the new song here.

And finally Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X will launch on PlayStation Vita in Japan on March 24th and will retail for 6,990Yen, Preorders will include an Arcade Aime Card which will feature the games main visual.
Also announced to release on the same day is a Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X accessory pack for Vita which will include an original shoulder pouch and a cleaning cloth which retail for 3,480Yen.
