Fans of the Dusk Trilogy of Atelier games will no doubt be familiar with Nio Altugle; she is the younger sister of Atelier Ayesha. In Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk Nio only had a supporting role but in the latest game you will be able to control her in battle!
In battle Nio will prove to be quite a bit of help. Not only can she deal damage with special attacks but she can also use abilities that remove negative status ailments from allies, revive and heal fallen allies, protect party members and she can also boost their stats.
As well as this Atelier Escha & Logy Plus will have brand new event scenes inspired by the Escha & Logy anime, which released in Japan to celebrate developer Gust’s 20th anniversary. The new scenes will show more details about Escha and Logy’s relationship and will reveal a secret story that was not available in previous versions of the game. There will also be some brand new, more challenging, missions and boss enemies!
Gust has been working hard at incorporating Vita specific features into the game alongside minor balancing fixes to help create a more level gaming experience. The Vita version will include all DLC from the PlayStation 3 version as well as new costumes.
