A couple of days ago we found out that Bandai Namco is bringing God Eater Resurrection and God Eater 2: Rage Burst to Western shores. Now we have a bit more information to share with you.

PlayStation LifeStyle interviewed series producer Yusuke Tomizawa and director Hiroshi Yoshimura about the localisation of the game.

As well as talking about character creation and gameplay it was revealed that all of the Japanese voice acting will be localised into English with English subtitles. Unfortunately there will be no option to play the games with Japanese voice acting with English subtitles.

Check out the full interview over at PlayStation LifeStyle.

God Eater Resurrection and God Eater 2: Rage Burst will be released in 2016 for PS4 and PS Vita. Are you disappointed with the lack of Japanese voice acting? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

  • Lester Paredes

Awesome! Quite possibly bad voice acting! Looking forward to it. And no, I’m not being facetious.

  • Devin Hudson

English voice acting is always my preference, so I’m fine with this. I wish all games had dual audio just to satisfy everybody, but if they don’t then I can’t complain too much when my preference was chosen.

  • Danny Boy

I Don’t know Too Much About God Eater Resurrection and God Eater 2 But The Picture’s Ive seen Look Proper Bo !

    • Clankers

You suck as a fake gamer. 🙂

      • Danny Boy

yeah yeah okay troll bollocks jog on…

        • Clankers

          Same to you 🙂

  • SosAge

JYB to reprise the role of Kota Fujiki pls!!

    • He voiced KOTA? I thought he voiced Lindow….

  • Devocalypse

After playing the JAP demo of GE2:RB on the PS4 I can’t say I’m looking forward to yet another remaster / reboot / whatever for this franchise. Same old boring grind as it was on the psp. Having no dual audio is just another nail in the coffin.

    • Apokalypze

Thats the point of this type of games ! To grind and work your way up. Sounds like you are in the wrong category of your gaming preference.

  • Thank God! I was so worried Bamco would cut corners and not dub it.

  • Kaboom

Actually, I’m pretty happy it’s dubbed.

  • otaku_no_bfm

: ( I’ll have to keep my eye on the Asia versions I guess.
