Gio Corsi has announced via Twitter that Third Party Productions will be lending a hand to The Banner Saga‘s producers in order to ensure a Vita release.

Just a week ago we received some dire news for The Banner Saga, as the PlayStation 4 version of the title got a January release date and the Vita version got the maybe later treatment.ย The repercussions of this were felt and heard wide and far, as people expressed their displeasure that we were left in the dark to begin with – and then that it probably wasn’t coming at all.

Thankfully, that’s not the end of the story.

Now it seems, Gio Corsi and the team over at Third Party Productions have heard our pleas – and are stepping in to give the team at Versus Evil (the producers of The Banner Saga) a helping hand on getting the Vita version completed.

Here’s how the news dropped;

As stated, expect more news on this in 2016 – but for now an assurance that we will see The Banner Saga on our favourite handheld is sure to go a long way…

…don’t you think?

    Very glad that this worked out. It was such a bummer, as it was one of my most anticipated games. Back on my day one list.
