It’s that time once again Vita gamers; we’re back to announce the January line-up of PlayStation Plus titles for the Western regions.

We’d like to remind you that Europe and North America are now getting their Plus titles on the same day of the week – the first Tuesday of the new month – and that you’ll be able to get this month’s haul on the 1st.

Grim Fandango: Remastered

“With a brilliant story and clever-yet-challenging puzzles, Grim Fandango Remastered is a brilliant adventure game that has stood the test of time. With characters that ooze life and charisma yet remain undeniably dead, this tale of comedy-noir is undeniably one of the genre’s greats and a PlayStation Vita must-buy!” – Brad Gruetzmacher

“Nihilumbra is an interesting concept presented as a short and sweet title that not only looks great, but also uses some of the features that a lot of developers forget the Vita actually has. This is one of the more unique titles on Vita – and if you’re looking for something different, you should definitely give it a go.” – Liam Langan

Legends of War: Patton (PSP)

Assume the role of General Patton and command the U.S. Third Army, from the beaches of France to the city of Berlin, along a complete Campaign composed of 7 Operations and 35 different Missions of varied and exciting objectives to fight the Nazi forces.

These two Vita titles (thanks, cross-buy!) and one PSP title can be yours, for the low price of a PlayStation Plus subscription. That subscription will net you great deals on digital titles as well, especially if you pay attention to the weekly deals on the PlayStation Network.

If you don’t already have one, I suggest grabbing a year sub; both for the cost to coverage benefits as well as the fact that you’re not going to want it to run out on you. 😉

so why do we get a psp version, if there is a vita version of legends of war!!?????

    • I asked myself the same question when we got the same treatment about Invizimals…
I don’t play PSP titles and certainly don’t want them in my IGC.
I own Grim Fandango, I’ll give Nihilumbra a go because that’s the great thing about plus – it gives me games I may not have tried before and generally I enjoy them. But don’t give me a PSP game – especially when there is a native Vita version of that game.

Legends of War is the only game there that I don’t own, I’ll give it a try. Nihilumbra was a highly enjoyable game, and I started Grim Fandango a couple of days ago and I’m enjoying it.
