Family Gamer TV’s Andy Robertson updates with his thoughts after spending some time with the upcoming MCU based Marvel LEGO game.

It should be pretty obvious by now that we are excited for LEGO Marvel’s Avengers, but it seems that we are not alone as Family Gamer TV’s Andy Robertson – perhaps better known as GeekDadGamer – recently had some hand-on impressions from the Vita build at a recent event. Although he has no captured footage, he does describe his opinions on what he played and shows off the latest screens.

In the video he explains what’s new, what’s unique to the handheld version and describes some of the gameplay he experienced.

If somehow you’ve missed the latest on LEGO Marvel’s Avengers, the game is based around the Marvel Cinematic Universe properties and will feature an open world hub for the first time on handheld! The game is set for release at the end of this month. Are you excited for the game? We will bring you more news and a review as soon as we can and stay tuned to Issue 9 of our Vita Magazine for an interview with TT Games’ Steve Thornton!

This is great news :D! Thank you for sharing this with us and I look forward to my second Lego game on Vita (got Lego Batman 2 a while back).

If you liked that one you really should pick up Lego Batman 3. It’s one of the best games for the Vita in general.

I’m really looking forward to this (open world!). It would be nice if that DLC came to Vita. That’s quite a few characters.

Vita Lego games have been awesome ever since Batman 3. I’m really excited that the game world this time is almost the same size as the console versions. Let the days of the 3DS ports be long gone!

This is awesome. It’s just too bad it took TT this long to get their portable Lego games up to this level. I will be buying it physical on day one.
