The Vita Lounge forum member Takao has pointed out an article on The Examiner that sheds some light on the Vita-bound Hitman Go.

Square Enix Montreal’s Community Manager Nicolas Bertrand-Verge recently told The Examiner some new details about the PlayStation Vita version of Hitman Go – including the fact that it’ll be both cross-buy and cross-save.

Beyond the cross-compatibilities, the game is said to be getting a full set of trophies (including a platinum), a non-microtransaction-based Hint system (which unfortunately disables trophies), and even an updated version of Unity. That updated version of Unity – version 5 versus version 4 on mobile – allowed for better working of lighting, and therefore better visuals with “greater fidelity.”

Still no word on when exactly we’ll be getting the title however, though we’re still hearing that super-unspecific “soon.” We’ll be sure to let you know when it evolves past the evasion. 😉

Will this version keep the table top characters or change them to be like in Tomb Raider Go?

    Soon… Soon…

I actually like the idea of using hints disabling trophies, though I’m sure people will just run to YouTube to get the solutions instead.
