Marvelous Europe and XSEED have detailed their Senran Kagura: Estival Versus DLC and version plans for release in the West.

Marvelous Europe and their North American brethren at XSEED Games have announced that they’ll be bringing over all the paid downloadable content from the Japanese version of the game – aside from the three Ikki Tousen characters (Sonsaku, Kan-u, and Ryofu) which won’t make the jump due to licensing issues.

As for the version of the game we’ll be getting on release, Estival Versus has been revealed to ship with version 1.06 of the Japanese release (due to cartridge limitations) – getting a day-one patch to version 1.17. After the day one patch you’ll have the new multiplayer match types, Rin & Daidoji as playable characters, and all the other little tweaks the game picked up along the way (balancing, menu options, etc). XSEED even teased the possibility that more updates might be released down the line, adding more free stuff and changes when they do.

Lastly, XSEED gave us a look at the contents of the Bahonkas Edition release – releasing the following pictures to up that saliva production in anticipation;

Senran Kagura: Estival Versus is due out by the end of March in both North America and Europe, with XSEED noting that they’re targeting a mid-March release on their end.

    I sure wish we got that Bahonkas Edition here in the US.

    I’m still ticked Ikkitousen’s not gonna make it… But hey, there’s still faint hope and there’s still over 20 characters anyways. I’m cool with that.
