For those of you excited for Square-Enix’s upcoming JRPG Ikenie to Yuki no Setsunaearly reports from Japan are claiming that the game is having a few issues with performance.

Many Japanese gamers who’ve managed to snag an early copy of the game have uploaded footage of the game in action, however it seems as though the game is suffering from lengthy load times on PlayStation Vita.

Players are claiming that the game can take anywhere between 10-12 seconds to load between villages and the world map, with the PlayStation 4 version taking around 2-3 seconds.

Is this something that would put you off? We’ve yet to hear an official word from Square-Enix on the matter but hopefully there’ll be a patch on the way to speed things up, of course we’ll be sure to keep you updated here on The Vita Lounge.

Corpse Party Blood Drive had the same problem and it was really bad. Having to wait 10 sec anytime the game had to load was off putting.

I’m okay with it, honestly. Should they try to fix it? Yes. Should they have spent more time on the Vita version to make sure this wasn’t a problem to begin with? Hell yes.

  • Well that sucks!
