Thought there was nothing to get excited for on Vita? Think again! Here are our current favourites!

YIIK: A Post-Modern RPG (up)

We got some hands-on with this upcoming RPG at EGX and it’s amazing. The art style, the action, the vision. It’s incredibly impressive and we simply have to have it, and it’s getting closer each month, as now it climbs to the top of our chart!

New Danganronpa V3 (non-mover)

Long-time visitors to The Vita Lounge will know that we love the Danganronpa series, so the announcement of a new title has really excited many members of the team, and as this post was written a few details are starting to trickle out. Are you excited?

Attack on Titan (up)

As the first screens and trailers are hitting, the excitement for this title is building. Based on the anime of the same name, we hope to find out more on this very soon.

Severed (down)

One of our most anticipated Vita titles and we really can’t wait. Are you excited for this? With touch mechanics for lopping off enemy limbs and set in a “fully stylised twisted reality” this Vita exclusive can’t come soon enough.

Axiom Verge (up)

Axiom Verge

The developer, Tom Happ, had some time out with baby related priorities and has told us that this will hopefully be out early in the new year. This retro-styled 2D Metroidvania title is inspired by classic games like Rygar, Contra, Bionic Commando, Blaster Master and Metroid.

Senran Kagura: Estival Versus (re-entry)

Senran Kagura: Estival Versus

The newest title in the series has the largest roster yet. It also has more moves, more story and more destruction than ever before as well as online match ups with up to four other players. A fan of Senran Kagura? Then you’ll be wanting this!

Darkest Dungeon (up)

Darkest Dungeon

Darkest Dungeon is an uncompromising experience which puts you in charge of a crew of fallible workers with a system of quirks and possibilities which can lead to many vastly different results…

Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization (new)

Set in the original Sword Art Online Universe, Hollow Realization will allow you to experience the adventure from the very beginning. We will have more news soon!

Drifter (new)

I was wondering if the Vita would receive a Wing Commander/Elite style game then remembered that this was coming! Find out more about this in the next issue of our Magazine!

Zero Escape 3: Zero Time Dilemma (new)

Zero Time Dilemma is a Visual Novel and the third in the Zero Escape series. Details are scarce right now but we are set to learn more in March. Are you a fan?

That rounds off our list. What do you make of these choices? Are you excited for any of these games or is there something else that is high on your wish list? Let us know in the comments!

This article first appeared in February issue of The Vita Lounge Magazine. Look out for more exclusive and magazine first content in the magazine soon!

Severed and Darkest Dungeon for me, but what’s happening with Sword and Sanctuary? The devs posted on the PS Blog last week, but there was no mention whatsoever of the much anticipated Vita version! Should we be worried?

    • PizzaSlapper

They said it’s still coming, but “later™”. Like always. PS4 version is coming Q1, so who knows how long after that the Vita version will arrive. This shit is happening way too often. For all we know, they haven’t even started work on the Vita port.

What, no Odin Sphere Leifthrasir or Stranger of Sword City?
