Score-chasing shooter A Duel Hand Disaster: Trackher is coming to the PlayStation Vita.
ADHD, as developer Jaycee Salinas called it in his PlayStation Blog post, is centered around two themes: risk and focus. The challenge is to control two ships simultaneously and deciding whether to stay within the level, risking your score, or securing it by leaving.
The shooter takes place on the planet Zastrus. The screen is split in half, each with its own ship – the left has the HR-D Assault Vessel defending Zastrus’ Core while the DF-R Reclaimer recovers resources.
The two ships also function differently; the HR-D doesn’t take damage, but need to have its fuel managed wisely. The DF-R can be damaged, and if it’s damaged enough, it will result in the mission failing. The DF-R runs on parts to maintain its defense, and you will need four to leave the planet with your score. Your final score is multiplied by how many materials you gathered during your run.
A Duel Hand Disaster: Trackher doesn’t have a release date, but will be at PAX East Booth 11089 if you want to try it for yourself.
