Sega has just released the Japanese demo for Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X on the regional PSN store, and it’s ripe for the trying – if you have access.

If you’re a fan of the vocaloid’s Vita versions and have a Japanese PSN account then you’re in luck; the Japanese PSN has just received a small dose of DIVA for you to try – clocking in at 247MB.

As previously reported, the demo will contain the tutorial “Ievan Polkka,” as well as the tracks “Ai no Uta,” “Strangers,” and “LOL –lots of laugh-.” It’ll also allow you to try the new Rush Mode, and sample some of the exciting modules.

Those interested in trying before they buy can grab the demo on the webstore here, or alternatively log into your Japanese account and grab it via the Vita-based store for a direct download.

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X releases today in Japan, so hopefully a Western localization announcement isn’t too far off! 😉
