The most recent issue of Dengeki PlayStation has revealed the release date as well as some new information on Shin Hayarigami 2, an upcoming horror game from NIS.
Shin Hayarigami 2 will launch in Japan on July 7th for all PlayStation Platforms, with the Vita version retailing for 6,458 Yen, with character design being handled by Hakus, The game is produced and written by Sohei Niikawa, and directed by Kazuya Takasu.
Dengeki PlayStation also managed to get an interview with Nilkawa and Takasu, who have revealed some minor information on the game;
First of all, Shin Hayarigami 2 will return to the origin of the series, while the series has had many spin offs and the previous game being the most successful yet, it was also subject to criticisms that the developers are working hard to amend, Nilkawa is particularly excited about the games scenario.
The game will be split into chapters with each chapter being a complete story. The game is aiming for a CERO Z rating, but it will depict fear that doesn’t fall into regulations. Previous systems such as Self-Question and Liars art will return to the series, as does protagonist Saki Houjou and will have a new appearance showing more of a character who has been through some difficult situations in their past.
