EastAsiaSoft have announced that they will be partnering with Limited Run Games to release two of their titles in physical format in a limited quantity some time in 2016.

Both their ambitious JRPG Rainbow Moon and their Shmup Söldner-X 2: Final Prototype will get the physical treatment, both equipped with their own set of features.

Rainbow Moon will have a platinum trophy, an updated translation and Cross-Save support while Söldner-X 2: Final Prototype will have 4 supported languages, a new trophy set and Söldner-X 2: Final Prototype – The Last Chapter available on the cart.

We’ll be sure to update you when we have more details including the launch date, but in the meantime be sure to let us know in the comments if you’ll be picking either of these titles up.

Same here! I’m hopin’ they will give us a hard copy of Rainbow Skies once that drops. Seems like I’ve spent an eternity waiting for it to break!

      • There’s a pretty good chance if Rainbow Moon sells out.

Man I’m so psyched for Rainbow Skies. Any news welcome

    • The retail version will have a new trophy list.

Wow! I’ll have to look over the trophy list, great incentive, but TBH I’m so swamped in other great games I need to play, I doubt I’ll re-purchase personally.
