A new trailer has recently been released by Comcept which showcases Beck’s rival in Mighty No.9 – a character called Ray.

The new trailer, which can be viewed below, not only gives us a glimpse of the playable character and how he handles, but also gives us a sneak peak of an abandoned laboratory stage which culminates in a boss fight with Ray himself. Both of which are also to be included as part of the downloadable content.

The trailer then climaxes with a quick example of Ray spinning and blasting through a stage before coming up against No.1.

Ray will act as DLC for the retail version of Mighty No.9 and when downloaded Ray can be used to play through the entire game as an optional character.

Although we still have no release date for the Vita version of Mighty No.9 the home console versions come to North America on June 21st and then launch in the rest of the world on June 24th. So hopefully the handheld iterations won’t be too far behind.

Do people still particularly care about this? Everything seems to have been a constant stream of dissapointment so far.

That’s what happens when the product is hyped as the second coming of Jesus and the people who ran the kickstarter and it’s development are acting all kinds of sketchy.
