An E3 overview posted on PlayStation Blog has outed some new information regarding just how we’re going to be getting Fault Milestone One.

Sekai Project was recently in the news for partnering with Mighty Rabbit to bring Ren’Py to Unity. It seems like that partnership is already up and running, as Mighty Rabbit is apparently handling the porting of this science-fantasy visual novel series with a cinematic twist… which was actually supposed to be coming for a while now.

Here’s the game’s introduction, via the PlayStation Blog;

Fault Milestone One follows the story of a princess named Selphine and her Royal Guardian Ritona. When a sudden assault devastates their homeland of Rughzenhaide, the two are forced to escape…but somehow end up teleported into an unknown forest full of vegetation they don’t recognize. The atmosphere is thick and heavy. There is no sign of life, very unusual in such a lush forest. Something is wrong about the land, but they are too startled to notice what.

The first new title in the partnership between Sekai Project and Mighty Rabbit Studios (Limited Run Games), Fault Milestone One will be ported by Mighty Rabbit and will arrive in the West with both digital and (limited) physical versions released via their publishing counterpart.

With Mighty Rabbit’s creds, this sounds like a good move to me – especially if we ever want to actually see these titles. That said, what do you think? Happy? Indifferent? Just happy it’s finally on the way?

    I’m very happy. Thesee game having been a long time coming, and the Vita could always use more visual novels. I’m glad to see this happening!

    I know I said previously that visual novels aren’t typically my bag, but this one sounds interesting. It’s the sci-fi twist.

    I too am not interested in visual novels, but for those that are I’m glad they keep getting released in the West
