Yacht Club Games has announced a limited physical run of Shovel Knight for PlayStation Vita, and we’ve got all the details you’ll need to get a copy.

Shipping in early October, the Fangamer-released limited print of Shovel Knight for PlayStation Vita will come with a physical copy of the game and a 42-page full colour instruction manual. It’ll be the same version of the game as the digital release on PlayStation Vita – so saves, trophies, and other data can be carried over with ease. 😉

Region-free, and limited in quantity, you’ll want to grab a copy while you can – right? Well good news, as they’re only $24.99 and available for pre-order right here.

Will you be grabbing a physical copy of Shovel Knight for your Vita? Let us know in the comments below!

I went a head and ordered it. I need more physical games in my life and less digital, i just barely got my second 64gb memory card a week ago and 1/3 is already gone. Plus I really want to support Yacht club since they showed how a kickstarter can be done right.

I feel you. I’m down to my last few jibs on my 64GB memory card.

  • Yes!

Hell yes! Pre-order for the win. We all already know this game is damn good, so no chance of getting a dud lame ass game. (See Metacritic score) I’m ordering this game right now! Take note, Limited Run Games, because Yacht Club games is doing this shit how it should be done.

Wow! Shipping to Bulgaria is $54! This is ridiculous… LRG deliver for $15, why this price difference damn it…

Now, see, this is a game I’m highly interested in getting a physical version of. I saw the post on Facebook since I follow Yacht Club Games and pre-orderes it. Niw, if only someone would do the same for Guacamelee!, Severed, New Little King’s Story (I can’t find a reasonably priced english language release), Helldivers, Dead Nation, Bastion, both Hotline Miami’s (i know japan has a physical release, but not sure if it’s got english options like Skullgirls)… the list goes on.

Would love to see LRG get around to some of those. There’s still hope.

I bought the physical Hotline Miami Collection from Play-Asia. It comes with both games and can be played in English; however, only the 1st game is on the cartridge, while the second game is a code voucher.

      • Lester Paredes

Awww, that sucks. I wonder why they did that. It’s not like the games are to big…

        • Alaka’i Lester

If I remember correctly Dennaton Games said there was trouble trying to put both games in the cartridge and Spike Chunsoft didn’t want to delay the game.

          • Lester Paredes

Oh. I guess that makes sense

I prefer playing the game in the format it was originally intended, digital 🙂

Only because that’s how I always expected to play it waiting for Shovel Knight to come out from following the exciting kickstarter updates (that still continue to this day!).

Seems like a collector’s game and I hope it increases in price in the future!
