Square Enix has finally released their (announced and then slightly delayed) RPG demo on the Japanese PSN, and we’ve got the details on how to get it.

Clocking in at 831 of your precious memory card megabytes, this newly released Dragon Quest Heroes II: The Twin Kings and The Prophecy’s End Japanese demo allows you to begin your adventure before you buy – playing right up until you reach Zebion. In total the demo allows you about an hour’s worth of content, though you do get to play as either the guy or the girl, so that might be two hours depending on your definition.

Well then you should check out some gameplay from the demo below, which includes some help for those who don’t speak or read Japanese. It’s basically one of my “introduction to” videos and some gameplay in one.

Like what you see? Need to see more? Well no worries, as I’ll be putting up a less tutorial-filled bit of gameplay very shortly – showing the rest of the journey to Zebion. Make sure to check and subscribe to our Lounge Play YouTube channel for a look.

Dragon Quest Heroes II: The Twin Kings and the Prophecy’s End is already available in Japan, and now has a demo for you to try out. If you’re interested, hop on over to the account switching tutorial on our forums or make your way to the Japanese PSN on your own terms.

It’s worth the try, and it’s PlayStation TV compatible. 😉
