The end of the month jumps out at us once again – meaning it’s time to announce the July line-up of PlayStation Plus titles for the Western regions.

We’d like to remind you that Plus titles across North America and Europe now hit on the same day of the week – the first Tuesday of the new month – and you’ll be able to get this month’s haul on the 5th.

Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines

“Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines is a wonderful, deep game that any RPG fan can appreciate. The initial heartbreak from the death of your best clansmen hurts, but knowing that his or her offspring can take over where they left off makes it much easier to cope. With difficultly levels to suit players of any experience, I cannot help but to recommend this game to anyone who likes a great story and mechanics.” – via Lateralus’ Review

Prince of Persia: Revelations (PSP)

Seven years after the events of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, the Prince finds himself constantly hunted by a terrible beast known as the Dahaka. The Prince seeks counsel from an old wise man who explains that whoever releases The Sands of Time must die. Because the Prince escaped his fate, it is the Dahaka’s mission as guardian of the Timeline to ensure that he dies as he was meant to. The old man also tells of the Island of Time, where the Empress of Time first created the Sands. The Prince sets sail for the Island in an attempt to prevent the Sands from ever being created, an act he believes will appease the Dahaka. After a battle at sea with an enemy force led by a mysterious woman in black capsizes the Prince’s ship, the Prince washes ashore unconsciously onto the Island of Time. – via Wikipedia

These two titles (one PSP, one Vita) can be yours, for the low price of a PlayStation Plus subscription. That subscription will net you great deals on digital titles as well, especially if you pay attention to the weekly deals on the PlayStation Network.

If you don’t already have one, I suggest grabbing a year sub; both for the cost to coverage benefits as well as the fact that you’re not going to want it to run out on you. 😉

Dang. I already own both of those games. Oh well. At least they’ve stopped giving vita owners launch shovelware…

Hmmm. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Oreshika before, so this is a welcome PS+ Vita game for me. I haven’t played the Prince of Persia game either, so that’s nice as well.

I’m really happy with Oreshika! Looking forward to that one. Prince of Persia for PSP I can do without.

too bad for prince of persia, should at least have given us the newest prince of persia game. Well hope Oreshika is a good game, tried the demo but I didnt had the patience to see it to the end. Now that is free I’ll try to put more time and see if it gets better
