The wait is finally over as the idol themed teaser site launched by D3 Publisher gives up the goods and reveals all!

Those of you who are regular visitors to our humble Lounge will remember a few days ago when our very own Kyle posted a story about a new game being teased by D3 via a teaser website. All we knew at the time of writing was that the game was set to have a theme revolving around idols.

Well the countdown timer has finished, and all has been revealed!

The full title for the game is Idol Death Game TV and it’s set to release in Japan on October 20th of this year – fully compatible with PlayStation TV.

Although there have been no trailers released yet in order to form a clearer idea of what style of game Idol Death Game TV will take – we can reveal that developer studio Witchcraft has described the game as a single player “Center-Contested Death Game Action Adventure”.

It has also come to light that Yami No Koe illustrator Metawo Ueda has been given the reigns for the character design and Shojiro Endo will be in charge of the writing and direction of the game.
