Idea Factory International has released a whole host of new screenshots for MeiQ: Labyrinth of Death, tossing in a new trailer for good measure. Time to get our MeiQ on!

These new battle screens from Iffy show off how the Mages and Guardians compliment each other, with the two easily switchable in battle. The Mages are the only ones that can repair the Guardians, and each is better suited to a different enemy, so knowing when to use them (and how to use them effectively) will be a good way to secure victory.

Check them out in action below;

As stated, in MeiQ: Labyrinth of Death you enter battle with both Mages and Guardians; the former being a magic wielder and the latter being a mechanical weapon. Being that different enemies will have different weaknesses, it’s only fair that you’re able to customize your mechanical Guardians to be able to better take on the foes it’s already more suited to than the Mages.

Check out some customization screens below;

Lastly, there’s a new gameplay trailer available which focuses heavily on that Guardian customization element;

MeiQ: Labyrinth of Death is due out in the West on September 13th in North America, and September 16th in Europe – coming to us in both digital and physical form, as well as being 100% PlayStation TV compatible.
