We now have some more details for several characters joining the cast of Atelier Firis: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Journey from developer Gust. You can check it all out below.
A historian from the “Nation of Evidence” who’s purpose is to record history. He is cool and calm by nature and is always forward thinking. Being a historian he shows great consideration for the historical structures of the world.
A young girl who lives in the snow village, Flocke. The youngest to ever pass the certified alchemist exam, she is very enlightened but also is worried that she doesn’t have any friends her age.
A sailor who lives in the lake town Flussheim, he has a bright and cheerful personality. He works tirelessly to help promote the town of Flussheim so as to not be beaten by other towns. He’s known to dote on his younger sister Mea but recently he’s found her to be a bit of a nuisance.
Younger sister of Kai, Mea runs a shop in Flussheim, she loves fishing though and will often leave the shop to do so. Being mischievous she often annoys her brother and lately she has become more and more unfriendly towards him.
A young blacksmith encountered on your journey. He is serious and honest by nature. He previously lived in Kirchen Bell but has since moved to Flussheim where he runs a reputable blacksmith. He has a good relationship with Kai also.
A young girl living in Flussheim. A childhood friend of Mea, she has a lively personality and is curious about the world around her.

A rugged town in a valley, the houses are built into the cliffs due to the narrow layout of the valley.
A village set in the snow, snow falls all year round and travellers from around the world refer to it as the “white village”. Rumour has it there is secret hot spring in the town.
A border town, being near the border, Reisenberg is a vibrant town with many travellers, The alchemist exam is held here at a government office in the centre of town.
Speaking of the Alchemist Exam, after one year journeying around the world, Firis will be able to take the Alchemist Exam. The test will be made up of both writing and practical problems testing all of the alchemy experience Firis has gained during the journey. After passing the exam, Firis will set off on a new journey to find out what she wants to do now she is an alchemist.
We also now have our first look at a new costume, “Certified Alchemist Dress”. When synthesising items with this costume, your certified alchemist style may show in your creations.

Atelier Firis: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Journey is set to release on PS4 and PS Vita on 29th of September in Japan. No word on a western release yet. Stay tuned to The Vita Lounge for more information as we get it.
