IGA has provided an update on the game’s development process, and in the process has revised the title’s release date aim into 2018.

Bloodstained has just had its sixth development update, and with it comes some bad news for those hoping to play sooner than later – not going to happen. Due to wanting to keep the quality up on the game, and the amount of time things are taking currently, it looks like the title won’t be hitting anyone’s collection ’til at least the first half of 2018.

Please don’t cancel the vita release. Please don’t cancel the vita release…

The question is…Will there even be a Vita at all in 2018?

      • DMSpider

        I’ll still have mine.

But will the platform still be there to release games on?- is what I meant.

If the PS4 is still around, then Sony will still tout remote play, and then, yes. Vita will still be here. How many games will it continue to get, who knows. But for a ‘dead’ and ‘legacy’ system, we’re getting a lot of them.

I’m a bit worried they’ll cancel the port. But I do think the Vita will stick around for at least a couple of years. God willing.
