Aksys Games has confirmed North American and European release dates for the side-scrolling RPG.

It looks like we’ll be seeing Exist Archive mid-October in the West, as posts on the PlayStation Blog and Gematsu have confirmed release dates for the North American and European regions respectively. Luckily for aspiring buyers however, neither region will have to wait for the title – with both North America and Europe receiving access on October 18th.

North America seems to be getting the better deal this time around though, as they’ll be getting the title digital and physical… with Europe only confirmed to be getting a digital edition at this point. Poor fellows. 🙁

Will you be picking up Exist Archive this October? Mark your calendars for the 18th!

what do we know about this game so far?

    • If you’re looking to read up, our handy tags (bottom of the post) lead to all our past stories on the subject. Here’s the one for Exist Archive; http://thevitalounge.net/tag/exist-archive-the-other-side-of-the-sky/

Basically, it’s a side-scrolling RPG where you and eleven other people are killed by an evil god, becoming a vessel for his powers in death. You then get mixed up with some other gods in an ancient conflict that seems to be on the edge of resolution. It’s all about combos, cool bosses, and pretty worlds from what I can tell. ^_^

Man… if it weren’t for all the delays, September was going to be an epic month for games. Now it looks like October and November will be slaying all of our wallets. Once I heard Tri-Ace was making this, I preordered. I really liked Valkyrie Profile and Radiata Stories and most of their Star Ocean entries. Can’t wait!

Hoping there is a collector’s edition for this.
