Limited Run Games has finally unveiled their next physical venture.

We dont have any details yet on the pricing or exactly when this will go live for ordering. Thomas Was Alone is a puzzle platformer developed by Mike Bithell originally released on Vita back in 2013.

Thomas Was Alone is set to release on PS4 and PS Vita physically later this month. Stay tuned to The Vita Lounge for more information as we get it.

Own this game and played it on the Vita. Loved it.

I have this on Android, which I got for free from Amazon a few years back, so I’m skipping this. I like the box art though.

Actually, with many of the choices LRG has been picking, they are saving me a lot of money.

I may be missing the point, but isn’t the advantage of a physical release to save space on our memory cards? It just feels like LRG (specifically in the case of Xeodrifter, 25 MB if I remember correctly) are failing to take full advantage of this. On a side note, I enjoyed Thomas was alone alot. Do we know if the physical release will include any expansions?

It’s an hardcore collectors thing, the number of copies is too small and without preorder to properly call it “a release” in the end the real advantage is for resellers on ebay that can earn a lot of cash with every release.
As a standard Vita collector I only buy official retail release and some Asian versions,I have just bought the Shovel Knight release from Fan Gamers because they done a good job with a long preorder so anyone interested can buy their copy without being victim of ebay resellers and this is how should be always done.
I always tell people to not buy from LR until they do a better job on selling their games avoiding overpricing on ebay.
