XSEED Games has announced a revised release window and a limited edition for their upcoming localization of Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star.

According to a press release issued by XSEED, it looks like Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star is now aiming for an “early 2017” release window – though a reason for this change hasn’t been outlined (or even addressed aside from the repetition of “early 2017” in the email).

It’s not all bad news in this update however, as we now have news on a limited edition release of the game dubbed the “Noble Phantasm Edition.” It’ll include a copy of the game, a 7.5″ x 6.3″ hardcover art book (featuring over 100 pages of game art), sixteen collectible 3″ x 5″ cards of the game’s Servants, and a 24″ x 17″ cloth poster – all inside a custom box. With a suggested price of $59.99US, it’ll apparently be available for pre-order shortly at various participating retailers.

That’s not the only version of the game however, as there’ll also be a $39.99US standard physical edition of The Umbral Star if you’re not into the limited release extras. 😉

Lastly, we’ve got a look at a newly localized trailer;

Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star is now due out Early 2017 in North America, and is still slated for Winter 2016 in Europe – though we’ve got a feeling Marvelous Games’ “exciting news” is going to include a similar delay.
