Thanks to Gust we have some new artwork and screenshots for upcoming RPG Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon.

Nights of Azure 2 is set in a world where humans live in the hours of daylight but demons and other fiends roam at night. Alushe, a knight of the Curia, is tasked with escorting her childhood friend, Saint Liliana.

After arriving at their destination they learn that Liliana is to be offered as a sacrifice to the “Queen of the Moon”. They are attacked by a powerful demon, and Alushe, despite her best efforts, is slain.

This is thankfully not the end of the story though! Alushe is awakened but is now an artificial half-demon and Liliana has disappeared. Alushe goes to the abandoned city on a quest to find her…

Check out the various character artwork below:

Alushe Anatoria (voiced by Sayaka Senbongi), Liliana Selphin (voiced by Ai Kayano) and Ruhenheid Ariarod (voiced by Mikako Komatsu).

Alushe can form contracts with “Servans” that can fight when summoned. Some Servans have special attacks and abilities which can open areas that Alushe would not otherwise be able to access. Some can even turn into weapons for Alushe to use.

I wonder if the vita version will be good this time and if it will even come West.

    • Dave Mckee

Koei confirmed it is going to come to the west back in September, as to if it is any good who knows. What is not confirmed however far as I know is if they are bringing the Vita version also or just the PS4 version to the west.

      • Noan North

why would they bring the vita version when there is no prequel for the western players?

        • Lester Paredes

Why not? It all would really depend on how much they lean on the first game’s story. They could easily just simplify the backstory to :They sacrificed my best friend and left me for dead, but now I’m back for revenge! And, if they need more, they could explain via intelligent use of flashbacks.

      • Lester Paredes

Well, since this is a Vita site, that would be the version most of the readers would be concerned with.

    … I’m pretty sure I’m just gonna need to buy a PS4.
