Bandai Namco has released new details and screenshots for SD Gundam G Generation Genesis, we have details of some of the games systems such as the Sub-Flight System and the Group Attack system. We also have some information on the DLC Pass which you get if you pre-order the game.

During the course of the game you will acquire a variety of mecha and you will be able to put together your own original unit. By leveling up various mecha you’ll be able to fuse them together to create an entirely new mecha. You can also exchanging the mecha you possess to barter for a different mecha, or buy a new one with Capital (money).

You can use the Sub-Flight System which will increase your mechas range of movement as well as allowing mecha not adapted to the terrain to be sortied.

Also when you have guest mecha in your team you need to learn to utilize them effectively by using their “Get Gauge”. This gauge increases as they take out enemies. When it reaches maximum the guest mecha are added to your production list. This means that after clearing the stage you’ll be able to produce them!

You’ll also be able to perform Group Attacks, these are different from standard support attacks as battleships and Mobile Suits combine attacks in order to crush the enemy. Battleships will be the units that are able to trigger this kind of attack and they’ll use it with any nearby ally units placed around it when selected. Group Attacks use up energy but can be very worthwhile as you can lock on to as many enemy units as there are allies within the battleship’s fixed range. Basically you’ll get to do lots of damage to lots of enemy units with just one attack!
