Developer Gust revealed some more information for their upcoming title Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon.

We have a look at new character Camilla Arukado. You can check her out below.

A doctor researching artificial half-demons, Camilla is plain speaking with cold observations. A genius in her field, she offers the hotel to Alushe to use as a base but her intentions remain unclear.

Throughout the game you will be fighting battles alongside one Lily and two Servans. Camilla (a Lily) utilises a gun in combat specialising in long range combat. The gun will have two modes which you can switch between, the short barrel with spread shots and the longer barrel for high-power precision.

During your travels you’ll come across some fiends that still have some self control, if you can rescue them from other fiends they’ll then fight alongside you as Servans.

We have a brief look at some of the Servans Alushe will come across in the game. Nero is a cat Servan and has an incredibly deep relationship with Alushe, directly connected with her past.

Shalf is a wolf Servan, in battle he utilises his sharp fangs and electric shocks. You can also utilise those electric shocks to solve some puzzles.

Finally we have Eil a bird Servan with flames surrounding his body. In addition to whole phoenix thing Eil has going on he will also be able to transform into a great sword.

Occasionally you’ll encounter some larger scale fiends that will act as bosses on your journey. Each boss will also feature some sort of mechanism with which to weaken the boss and gain the upper hand.

So what do you make of the new Lily? How about the Servan? Any early favourites? Let us know in the comments below.

Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon is set to release on PS4 and PS Vita in Japan on 22nd December with a western release date not yet announced. Stay tuned to The Vita Lounge for more news as we get it.

It looks awesome. I love the designs of the characters and the servans so far look impressive as well. I hope the game play matches the artistry in the final product.
