The penultimate month of the year is here, and for us PlayStation Vita owners it is one of the quieter months of 2016. Fear not though – although lacking in quantity November sure makes up for it in quality, with titles like Steins;Gate 0, Root Letter and The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II coming to our favourite handheld this month!

Slain!: Back from Hell
Release Date – November
1st NA & EU
Publisher – Digerati Distribution
Genre – Action
Playing as Bathoryn, who is the hero in this Gothic world, the aim of Slain! is to emancipate seven great towers. You will do this by making your way through an ill-fated land that is full of horrific pixel art enemies that will come between you and the tower. You will need to ascend (or occasionally descend) each tower whilst fighting off monsters, overcoming traps and working out puzzles on your way to the tower’s heart – where you will find the and face off against a ‘mighty overlord’. You will need to defeat this enemy to continue with Bathoryn’s quest. Failure will be met with a gruesome death for our hero, falling victim to any of the following – being mauled by werewolves, disintegrated by floating monstrosities, squashed by great weights or torn apart by hidden blades.
If that doesn’t already sound awesome, there will also be an heavy metal soundtrack, just to make the experience even more memorable.

Demetrios was successfully funded in a Kickstarter campaign back in October 2015. The game launched on Steam back in May and the port is due to come to the PS Vita later this month.
Demetrios is a quirky looking point-and-click adventure game starring an antique dealer called Bjorn Thonen. Bjorn is robbed one night after coming home drunk. He’s forced to conduct his own crime investigation with the help of his neighbor Sandra and quickly winds up on a mysterious adventure. Hopefully these two unlikely heroes will be able to rise up to the challenge and discover ancient secrets!

Genre – Visual Novel
Steins;Gate 0 is a brand new story from an alternate world timeline, following Okabe Rintaro as he realizes that he can’t save the one he loves, and falls into the blackness of depression. He gives up all that is important to him in the wake of this tragedy, and in the process ends up endangering all of humanity.
His only hope is that his friends Mayuri, Farris, Daru, Moeka, Luka, and Suzuka can bring him back from the darkness – though how they attempt it you’ll have to find out for yourself.
Fusing new characters and old, time travel and artificial intelligence, Steins;Gate 0 looks to be a worthy successor to the visual novel everyone loved (especially me!) – and promises a darker storyline that will blow your mind.
So there we have the key titles that are set to release for the PlayStation Vita this November!
