Gust has released the very first trailer for Blue Reflection: Sword of the Girl Who Dances in Illusions as well as some new information, gorgeous artwork and screenshots.

Take a look at one of the monsters you’ll be facing in the screenshots and artwork below. Pure Breed is a huge monster with overwhelming power. He has suddenly appeared and is a major threat to the world; attacking Hinako and the other Reflectors.

The Reflectors can not deflect Pure Breed’s attacks as he seems to be attacking with some unknown power. His motivations and goals are completely unknown.

Hinako and the other Reflectors will need to get stronger, they can do this by equipping Fragments. By solving problems in the Different World you’ll find many Fragments. Fragments are the crystallization of emotions and can have various effects such as increasing attack power or defensive power.

When you’re not exploring the Different World, Hinako and her friends will be attending high school. The basic cycle of this part of the game will always be the same. In the morning you’ll head to school, occasionally bumping into friends along the way. While at school you’ll have to attend lessons and also have lunch breaks. Sometimes when talking to other students you’ll be asked questions. These questions can change your “Interaction Level,” which represents the closeness of your relationship with that student.

When school has finished you’ll have some free time. You can decide who you want to hang out with, create items or go to the Different World. Once free time has ended you’ll go home to sleep and the day will end.

During the day you’ll also be able to use “FuriSupe” a smartphone app which allows you to see you friends’ profiles as well as letting you chat to them and play mini-games.

We also have some more artwork and details about some of the characters you’ll meet:

Chihiro Inoue (voiced by Ayaka Suwa) is a kind hearted, curious girl. She tends to cause trouble accidently, like the time she decorated a classroom with stuffed toys. She doesn’t do things with bad intentions but doesn’t always think through her actions.

Yuri Saiki (voiced by Ayane Sakura) is a genius but she pretends to be an ordinary student. She’s not very good at expressing her emotions or at reading other people’s emotions.

Blue Reflection: Sword of the Girl Who Dances in Illusions is due out in Japan on March 30. Make sure you check out the trailer below and keep checking back to The Vita Lounge for more updates!
