Gust has announced details for the first set of DLC for alchemy-RPG Atelier Firis: The Alchemist and the Mysterious Journey. The DLC will launch in Japan on December 16th.

For 756 yen you can get an additional playable character called Heinz Freihorn a 16 year old Nomad (voiced by Yuto Suzuki and illustrated by Yuugen). He comes from a family which keeps monsters monsters as livestock. His dream is to continue the family business so he often likes to take on strong monsters. His family prefers to keep weaker monsters but he dreams of keeping much more dangerous ones.


There are also a few new costumes:

A “Sky-Blue Papillon” costume for Firis (216 yen)


A “Night Onyx” costume for Liane (216 yen)


“Red and White Amour” costume for Ilmeria 216 yen)


“Fresh Verdure Feuilles” costume for Drossel (216 yen)


“Passion Soleil” costume for Sophie (216 yen)


Of course if you want to you can choose to buy the full DLC Set #1 for 1,080 yen which includes all the things mentioned above.

There will also be a Gust Legacy Title BGM Pack available for free which contains background music from many of Gust’s legacy titles. Once downloaded you’ll be able to change the background music from the desk when inside the atelier.

Patch 1.04 will be available at the same time as the DLC and will open up the new collection ground “Riesent Rene” as well as new quests and powerful monsters.

Atelier Firis: The Alchemist and the Mysterious Journey is already out in Japan and will be coming to the West in spring 2017.
