The previously February bound title has now been delayed ’til “2017” in general, having already been delayed once from December.

Gust has delayed their upcoming RPG sequel Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon from its February release window ’til simply “2017” – Producer Keisuke Kikuchi noting that the delay (much like the first) was needed to improve the game’s overall quality. While adjustments have already been made between the previous delay and this one, more time is needed to make sure the game meets a quality level that will satisfy buyers.

As for what has been done so far, it seems that adjustments and testing have been done regarding the girls’ entanglements, the story’s depth, and balance in the action segments. What’s still to be tweaked however, hasn’t been elaborated on.

Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon is due out in Japan sometime in 2017.
