Atlus has announced that they’ll be releasing not one, but TWO Aquaplus Utawarerumono games in the West.

Strategic RPG and visual novel rolled into one, the Utawarerumono games follow protagonist “Haku” – a man with both a permanent mask and amnesia, and the girl named Kuon who found him wandering in the woods. As they try and live a peaceful life following their meeting, an outside force intervenes… and they’re forced to become the heroes they never meant to be.

Atlus will be bringing over the two Vita titles from the series – Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception and Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth – in digital format for Vita, with North America also getting a physical copy (but Europe left out). Mask of Deception is set to hit sometime this Spring according to the website, while Mask of Truth is simply listed as “coming soon.”

Are you excited at the prospect of playing this one in English? I know I am!

Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception and Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth are coming to the PlayStation Vita in the West, the first one hitting sometime this Spring.
