Bandai Namco have confirmed that their cross-over project is headed to North America and Europe, tossing in release details and media for those interested.

It’s official; Bandai Namco has confirmed that action RPG Accel World vs Sword Art Online: Millennium Twilight will be heading to both North America and Europe this Summer, with both regions getting it digital-only on Vita.

Seeing as how we’ve covered this title quite extensively in the past, I’m going to let the press release fill in those who’re new. 😉

“Svart Alfheim and the Accelerated World have begun to merge. In the midst of the chaos, Yui has gone missing. Kirito must challenge the Seven Kings of pure color from the Accelerated World to gain access to her location. Players from both groups come together in a war of the worlds where the strongest Burst Linkers and ALO Players are on a mission to save Yui from the hands of Personna Babel.”

Has that caught your attention? Well then be sure to check out our past coverage of the game, as well as the new English language media we’ve posted below.

Accel World vs Sword Art Online: Millennium Twilight is headed to Japan March 16th, with a Western release to follow in Summer. Will you be picking it up?

I have Hollow Fragment digitally which the translation is terrible and i couldnt play. I am playing lost song (physically) and I just ordered physical Hollow Realization (European/English) from PlayAsia. If they make an Eng Sub version of this I will order import it.

Will get it on the Vita. I plan to get most of the larger titles that interest me for the Vita the next couple of years. It’s such a brilliant handheld but the hardware is starting to show its age especially with loading times.
