DotEmu has dropped some new details and a fresh trailer for action RPG Ys Origin.

Ys Origin was announced at PlayStation Experience, and was originally said to be releasing on February 21st – but it seem that was too good to be true. DotEmu are delaying the title ’til March 30th on PlayStation Vita, citing the dream of “the most enjoyable experience” as their reasoning.

Now that the bad news is out of the way, we’ve also got a bit to share about the game; starting with clarification on the main characters, neither of which are Adol. Instead, Ys Origins stars Yunica – a brave warrior who charges in with an axe, and Hugo – a powerful sorcerer who attacks from a distance.

You’ll have to master the character of your choice in order to free the Goddesses from the Devil’s Tower, so get to studying up with this newly released trailer.

Ys Origin now releases March 30th on PlayStation Vita.

Aw, the delay stinks, but at least it isn’t for too long. I just wish it wasn’t in March, as all of my money is going to the Switch…

I’d wait to see if the Switch is worth it before parting with your hard earned money 😉

Hey, I’ve bought every sony and nintendo console, regardless if hiw well they actually do, and I’m not about to change that now. One could argue that the vita wasn’t worth the money, and yet here I am, talking to you on a Vita exclusive website. I’ve never been disappointed with Nintendo or Sony, despite them not reaching their full potential with their hardware releases.
That being said, it’s never too late for either to let me down.
