Stasis Soft, a small indie game studio, has launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund Aegis: Innocence a 2D Platformer Action RPG.

Aegis: Innocence has 7 days left of its Kickstarter campaign and aims to raise $60,000. It has a stretch goal of $95,000 to port the game to various consoles but Stasis Soft has stated that they plan to release the game digitally on PS4 and PS Vita even if they don’t reach that stretch goal. If you pledge $80 or more you’ll be able to get a physical version of the game.

You’ll play as a teddy bear who fights nightmares to protect its human. When the nightmares drain your human’s life energy, you must travel to the nightmares world, fighting your way through hordes of enemies to retrieve what was stolen and set things right.

There will be 15 intricately crafted areas for you to explore and find hidden secrets. You’ll even be able to manipulate the environment to destroy and weaken your foes, or use it to sneak in and gain an advantage on them. The combat won’t just be simple hack-n-slash instead you’ll have to time your attacks and find openings to gain the advantage.

There will be multiple weapon types, each with its own skill tree, so you’ll be able to build your perfect character to match your own personal playstyle.

Looks cute, but $80 is to rich for my blood. Maybe a smaller tier for me…

Looks like it will struggle to be funded anyway.

This article is inaccurate, it’s only $40 for a physical copy, the $80 tier is if you want TWO copies.
