Upcoming horror adventure game Death Mark gets a second trailer and more details to get us even more excited and or scared.
First up lets check out that trailer.
The trailer highlights some of the key systems in the game. Spirit spots are where you’ll spend most of your time investigating and looking for clues. Here you’ll feel the ‘Fear’ of the Death Mark. There are a few different Spirit Spots for the player to explore including the H City Elementary School and the Castle Forest.
H City Elementary School
There was a fire once and as a result the school was severely damaged. There are rumours of a student who should not be in the school appearing in the grounds…
H Castle Forest
The woodlands north of H City are famed for the suicides committed there. It is easy for hikers to become lost on the trails and in anarea known for suicides the question is, have people settled in the forest?
Fear not you wont be alone on your investigation, mentioned in the trailer you’ll be able to choose another Marked Person to help you, this choice is important and will directly affect your chances of survival. There are 2 more unlucky souls joining you on your investigation.
Each Marked Person has different traits and understanding how these traits work during exploration and encounters will be vital to survival.
You’ll explore the locations using your flashlight to highlight interesting areas, discover hints and find clues, if you’re stuck then use some of the items you’ve collected to see if they’ll help.
Finally the trailer showcases one of the encounters in the game. Using information you’ve gathered from the Spirit Spots and the help of your partner you attempt to make choices that influence your fateful encounter with the monsters you come across. Make one wrong choice and you can die instantly.
The game clearly looks to unsettle players and keep the stakes high at all times. What do you think of the game so far? Are the unsettling monsters enough to pique your interest? Let us know in the comments below.
