After a new update to the official website for Dungeon Travelers 2-2, we now have plenty of new details on some of the finer features in the game.
All the new information focuses on Sealbooks and the brand new Monster summoning. So starting off we’ll cover the basics on Sealbooks.
When you defeat monsters and utilise the ability Libra. you’ll be able to seal their spirits away. By bringing these spirits to the Seal Control Room you’ll be able to turn these spirits into a more useful Sealbook.
These Sealbooks can then be equipped to provide you with various benefits in battle such as increased HP or an attack power boost.
Every once in a while you may come across a monster known as a Mutant, stronger than other monsters if you can obtain their spirit you’ll be able to create a Grand Sealbook.
Grand Sealbooks also have varying benefits but are useful even outside of battle and more importantly are good for Monster Summoning…
New to this entry, by utilising a Grand Sealbook you’ll be able to summon the monster confined within to help you out in battle. Summoned monsters come in different varieties and they dont need you to take control of them, they’ll fight automatically without your input.
Unlike Mercenaries in the game, summoned monsters are directly influenced by the level and strength of your own party. As an added benefit they also wont leave your party.
