Aquaplus, Famitsu, and Dengeki PlayStation have revealed new information about Dungeon Travelers 2-2 that might be of interest to returning or eager fans.
If you’re the kind of person that likes to consume all the content of a game or series, we might have some news of interest; Aquaplus has added a bonus for having save data present from Dungeon Travelers 2, and will also be bringing us some downloadable content at (and I’m assuming after) release.
First up we’ve got details on the save data bonus, which will kick in if you’ve got save data present on the system from Dungeon Travelers 2: The Royal Library & the Monster Seal. As a reward for playing the previous Vita title (the PSP version doesn’t count) you’ll receive nine each of the Croissant, Elm Leaf, and Emergency Exit items – a one time gift at the beginning of the game. This works with any level of save data, even if it’s from the beginning of the previous game.
As for the DLC announced, we’ve heard that “Beginning Equipment” will be available day one. Priced reasonably at “free,” it offers “DEF +3,” “All Stats +3,” and “Fire~Thunder Resistance Up” trinkets – giving you a better chance in the wide world. That’s not all however, as Famitsu and Dengeki PlayStation have revealed that there’s some Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth and White Album 2 DLC incoming in the form of two dungeons based on their works. These dungeons will include appearances from Mask of Truth‘s Nekone and White Album 2‘s Setsuna Ogiso, pictured below.
Dungeon Travelers 2-2: The Maiden Who Fell into Darkness and the Book of Beginnings is due out April 20th in Japan.
You’re getting it, right?
