Compile Heart has announced a pre-registration system and the release window for free to play card battle game Nep-Nep Connect: Chaos Chanpuru.

According to the latest information our of Japan, it looks like pre-registration tickets for Nep-Nep Connect: Chaos Chanpuru are now available via the Japanese PlayStation Store – with your ticket netting you a “[Manifester] Purple Heart” card for use in the game (once it releases). Pre-registration is open ’til April 30th, so be sure to get in on that.

As for the game itself, Compile Heart have announced a May release. Running with the fact that pre-registration closes on the last day of April however, it’s logical that the game will hit sometime in the first few days of the month – if not the 1st.

Okay, so now you’re hyped and you don’t know what to do with yourself ’til the game releases… but never fear! Compile Heart have also released a gameplay introduction trailer, which is viewable below;

Nep-Nep Connect: Chaos Chanpuru is set to launch this May in Japan.

      Just like MonMon, but F2P and from Neptunia. It looks cool and I hope it’ll get localized although I doubt a F2P model would survive here on the Vita… I wouldn’t mind it if they’d turn it into standard pay upfront game without all the micro-transactions, but that probably requires more changes to the gameplay than localizers often do/are capable of doing…
