Nippon Ichi has released the second official trailer for their upcoming deadly election game.
Exile Election is a game about a group of people trapped in a theme park for a deadly election of their captor’s design. At every juncture, someone must be elected to die – and this must continue on until there are only two people left.
Sound interesting? Well it is! We’ve been following this one for a while, and now that it’s so close to release it looks like Nippon Ichi is kicking out a few tidbits to remind us. This new piece of media is in the form of a “rules” trailer, and serves to highlight the three rules of an election.
They are (according to Gemtasu’s translation);
- Rule #1: Three days before the election, a candidate is named and an opposing candidate is nominated.
- Rule #2: The candidate and opposing candidate have a debate, and gather the support of the other participants.
- Rule #3: The candidate who is unable to build up support will be exiled.
Okay, so now that we know what’s up, let’s have a look at that trailer – and see if we can’t up our hype levels a little for this one (maybe even to localization-convincing levels)…
Exile Election is due out April 27th in Japan.
Are you hoping to get your hands on it?
