The Fruit of Grisaia‘s side stories are headed to Vita in Japan.

Weekly Famitsu has revealed that The Fruit of Grisaia -Side Episode- Leisure, Afterglow, and Melody are headed to PlayStation Vita as a 4000 yen compilation in Japan. Originally included as first print bonuses for TV anime boxed releases, these titles are also available on PC via Steam – and we’ve got brief outlines for them to follow.

The first part of the compilation is The Leisure of Grisaia, and it’s a side story to The Fruit of Grisaia. It’s a character-driven visual novel featuring some of the same characters as its main story compilation, and focuses on Michiru – who takes the primary role in this slaptstick style take. The plot focuses on her decision whether or not to try a new club activity with Sachi and her other friends, which is harder to make than it sounds.

The second part of the compilation is The Afterglow of Grisaia, and it’s a side story to The Labyrinth of Grisaia. A story-driven visual novel with some serious overtones, it focuses on Yuuji’s experiences with Kurakabe Asako – the CIRS agent who saved him from a terrorist group when he was a child.

Finally, the third part of the compilation is The Melody of Grisaia – another side story to The Labyrinth of Grisaia, and a follow up to The Afterglow of Grisaia. A visual novel with a serious plot like its predecessor, it takes place just after Kisakabe Asako has officially named Kazami Yuuji her successor as number 9029. It focuses on his extensive world travels in the light of this change, and the events that occur therein.

The Fruit of Grisaia -Side Episode- Leisure, Afterglow, and Melody should be available in Japan sometime this July.

Will you be picking them up in this Vita compilation?
