PM Studios and Acttil have announced that music rhythm game Deemo is headed North America’s way this Tuesday, with a physical release up for order soon.

Featuring three difficulty modes, variable note speed, over a hundred captivating songs from various composers and genres, beautifully hand-drawn artwork, and of course a mesmerizing story, Deemo: The Last Recital is headed to North America on May 16th – priced at $14.99US as a digital release.

Need a refresher on the story? Well here’s the official description from Acttil and PM Studios;

Deemo is a mysterious creature who lives a life of solitude deep within a castle. One day, a little girl falls from the sky. She has no idea who she is, or where she comes from. As Deemo tries to help her return to her world, they discover a strange tree that grows taller with each note that is played on the piano it’s attached to. How will Deemo adjust to a companionship it has never experienced before? Will the little girl be able to handle whatever truths await when her lost memories return? Accompanied by the haunting notes of the piano, uncover the mysteries surrounding the mystical Deemo and the enigmatic girl from the sky.

That’s not all we have to talk about today however, as not only has the game gotten confirmation of a North American digital release date, but it has also been confirmed for physical release via Limited Run Games.

The limited physical run of Deemo: The Last Recital will be up for order on June 9th (at the usual 10am and 6pm Eastern), so be sure to keep a reminder set somehow or risk missing it! I can’t find run numbers or pricing, but we can assume it’s more than 1500 (the minimum Sony allows) and at least $24.99US – so adjust your spending and time accordingly. 😉

Deemo: The Last Recital hits North America on May 16th, with European release details to follow at a later date. Those looking for physical copies need look no further than Limited Run Games however, who are putting copies up for order on June 9th.
