How many of those Japanese-only games -also- have English subtitles? Far as I can tell, so far, Final Fantasy III does.
I imagine they're having an easier time getting carts in Japan, I think they're based there.

I don't think it was PQube that threw it away - Sony simply said no, and since they print the carts, there's nothing PQube can do.
