Ordered both just before I left for work earlier.
Snagged both my copies! Gotta say $20 for each game is a very fair price, good on you AD!
At 67% this morning. Not too far to go now. Hopefully once the word spreads around it'll get wrapped up
Got the combo.
Since I'm not going for a full set of anything, I passed on these games. Going by their previous games... well lets just say I'd rather spend money elsewhere

Came to my senses and cancelled my order. I have to stop wasting my money...
Yeah, it's getting ridiculous. When i decided to go for the full VITA physical set there was no LRG yet and the retail games started tapering off. There were ~140 releases at that point and I projected ~200, max 250 physical games will ever be released (I used Dreamcast's 247 as a reference point). But now we are at ~280 (and that's just NA -- I fortunately decided not to go for EU/Asia releases) and it seems it will go over 300. This is mostly because of LRG which I liked at the beginning but recently started to resent and was very happy to see that the official releases will be stopped by SONY next year. If i look at the retail games I think VITA had less than 10 releases this year but LRG really went full steam... I am actually considering dividing my collection into retail and LRG, keeping the true retail games and selling off the LRG ones (which are all still sealed).
I'm happy to hear this. It's bad for the gaming industry when people buy games irregardless of their quality.
Actual R1 retail releases for Vita so far this year through end of this month.:
Code: Realize ~Future Blessings~
Hakuoki: Edo Blossoms
Psychedelica of the Ashen Hawk
Psychedelica of the Black Butterfly
Velocity 2X: Critical Mass Edition
Yes, right at ten games as of three days from now (October 31st).
But....but.... you're so close to the end. Truth be told I feel the same way. Strongly considering selling vita games off. For some reason I own a sealed MMA supremacy... i will never open it.
Bear in mind wintermute there are some fantastic games amongst LRGs output as well as some crap
Wow I'm glad someone finally said it. I am definitely in the same boat as you and Dan are Wintermute. I was under the same impression when I first started Vita collecting a couple of years ago. My how things have certainly changed since then. I want to keep going though for a bit longer, as Stats said we have come so far now and the end is drawing nearer. However if you do decide to sell off your LRG releases let me know, I'd gladly buy your Salt & Sanctuary off you as I missed that game last month.
It wouldn't take my card for these ...must be a sign not to buy them !
For me at least I feel like having fewer things helps me appreciate the stuff i've got. The more and more games that I obtain, I can feel other games of mine gradually becoming less appreciated and special to me. What I do is try to strike a balance. I'm in my mid 30s now and quite frankly I've got enough "stuff" to my name. So what i've been doing lately, is to try and sell my old stuff at roughly the same speed as i'm getting new stuff. Out with the old, in with the new. As i'm building up my Vita collection i'm also stripping down my Sega Saturn, Atari and Genesis collection. The way I see it, with all these hundreds of Vita games, i'll never have the time to play that older stuff and i'd rather play these Vita titles anyways if I had to choose between the two. I love all of this stuff, but i'm not going to live forever to have time to play it all. And I think the only thing worse than not having a game you really want, is not being able to find a game that you really want to play because you've got too many games to find it! Lol.
Same here. I was going for full set but gave up.
This whole thing of putting really bad games on cartridge and selling to "collectors" is just sad when you think about it...
I'm crying all the way to an empty bank account
Could be worse, you could've had your payroll card number stolen on Friday and now have a super uncommunicative payroll card company holding your undisclosed amount of balance hostage until such time as they get around to issuing you a new card in the next twenty-one days. Thank God I still have a few dollars left in PayPal.
In the UK, they will send money to a cash point that you are next to via telephone banking if you have a lost or cancelled card
Even I didn't bite on these two, what with the so so releases recently via LRG and Redart (imo).
I cannot keep justifying more sub par games when I can put my money to some bad Ass megadrive shooters
I'm on the other side. I'm still going strong for the full set
The last Indiegogo update:
So a quick update, we are now producing the games in Asia with a partner of us that we trust can do a better job than we ever did. What does this mean?
- Don't worry nothing extra for you guys, still getting your copies the same way
- No ESRB logo (that's kind of awesome)
- Having a partner who I will announce soon who once we are done putting together all the box art etc...
I think this means that these 2 games don't count as a part of the full NA collection anymore (?)
Will sell on eBay if so.
I didn't back them so I'd take them off your hands wintermute if you do decide to
