I tried to upload a 28 KB avatar and it says that it can't be over 65 KB. What gives? Does it just hate png formats in general? I used gif and it worked though, but now it looks blurry on the forum itself, but fine on my profile. X_X

I reckon it's perfectly fine the way it is.

Png almost never works for forum avatars. Jpg pretty much always works. Just convert to that and you should be good to go.

Sorry I didn't notice this sooner, but the forum software only accepts very specific attributes on its images for security reasons.

JPEG works best, and it's best if the image is sized properly (in pixels) to fit without stretching or manipulation.
