I went for it! Combined with Seven Pirates (€24!) I got to use a $5 off too! The shooting+fantasy melee combo looks so great for the Vita!

Agreed, the price tag for all editions has me quite upset. It seems publishers are aware that fans of the Vita are willing to drop substantially more money for physical Vita games, when compared to some other console fanbases, so they take advantage of it. As for me, I'm upset, but seeing as this game is being printed in low quantitiy, I'm sure that it's never going to be sold much cheaper hence, should I ever wish to sell off at a later date, I'll make enough of my money back.

Hmmm, the LE has one of those mousepads, which usually ups the price a lot (I honestly was kind of hoping they'd get a semi-LE without it so that the price could be lowered a little. The artbook and soundtrack seem like they'd be totally worth it). Besides that, for Europeans, it's priced like a decent amount of other games that do come over here at around €50 (at least that's what a lot of Aksys titles retail for around here. It's the upper margin of new Vita games I think). Sure, there's 20% import VAT on top of that making it essentially a €60 title for purchasing, but it seems a little unfair to me to add that to the price. It seems very similarly priced to other Asia region games, which makes me wonder if there games just cost more...

I was arguing it doesn't seem that steep of a price to me though xD

Like I said, it's the same price Tokyo Xanadu gets sold here for...

Mine shipped, and both perfect and least perfect timing. Perfect in that I have a 2 week holiday from my job, so if I get in the next few days I've a week plus to play through it. Bad in that I forgot the date of its release, so I just downloaded RE Revelations 2 for the Switch, a very similar game, for £12. I hope that game doesn't put me off Bullet Girls.

Bah. Shelves better than drawers. That way I can look at my collection on the shelves and ponder when I'll finish all those games. Anyway, can't believe my copy has finally shipped, feels like I preordered it years ago.

My copy shipped just a few minutes ago when I looked! Checked my email: nothing. Checked Play-Asia: shipped! Checked email back: "Play-Asia.com order shipped!". Awesooooome! :D

I'm planning on keeping my games on shelves, but a great middle passage for shelves and drawers is a closet with glass doors (the Billy from Ikea has them for example). We use those for our books and figurines, and we'll do shelves for games, but it's kind of the same idea.

Probably trying to find a box big enough to ship that mouse mat most likely. But if previous PA orders are anything to go by. Yours will still arrive before my order.

My shelves get dusty. So I dust them. Problem solved!

Is this ancient 'cleaning' magic I've heard of? I think it's in the forbidden books section in my university library...

Any confirmation on if this game supports AD-HOC? It's definitely the type of game i'd like to force my friends to play with me.

If you ever want to get rid of that mouse pad I'll give it a good home.

OK, so I received this game a few days back and spent an hour or so on it yesterday. First impressions are... not so good, admittedly.

    Negatives:

    - The framerate is awkward. And not just when things are hectic. The graphics and level design is very basic at this stage and yet there are still framerate drops fairly consistently.
    - The story is told in the most uninspired way. For instance, the very first thing the game does it talk about the personalities of all 7 odd members. Because we're too dumb to figure out their bland characters through the story?
    - Most annoyingly, and correct me if I'm wrong here guys, but there appears to be no way to change the camera movement speed. Turning the camera to look 90 - 180 degrees takes WAY longer than it ought to be.
    - Controls feel unresponsive, or there is a slight delay in response during certain actions i.e. switching weapons isn't as fast or responsive as it should be.
    - Unending waves of the exact same enemies. It feels like too many of them.
    - Arenas, so far, are too open and barren.

    Positives

    - Nice, colourful visuals.
    - The soundtrack thus far is fairly catchy.
    - The gameplay is at least competent. I wasn't expecting game of the year, but they're not outright unplayable.
    - The fan service is great! Which, let's face it, is one of the main reasons a lot of us bought this in the first place. XD

It doesn't help that I began playing this game just 2 weeks after grinding through Resident Evil Revelations 2 on the Switch. Sure, it's unfair to compare against a more powerful machine with a game with a larger budget, but never-the-less, that's what this game is up against and it's not as if RE:R2's raid mode is any more complex. There is actually a lower count of enemies, and locations smaller in scope, yet that is arguably why it feels better designed overall. Honestly, RE:R2 is the first game to hit home just how far we've come since the Vita's launch.

I don't want to sound too negative here, but I paid a fair whack for this game, and it was in development long enough. And some of these performance issues shouldn't exist. The vita can handle more demanding games than this at a better rate.
