Shin Gundam Musou
Another Gundam game added. English texts here and there
Does anybody know if "Adventure Time: Secrets of the Nameless Kingdom" has english texts??
I've been tempted to import this lately, but I'm not sure about the English text either. This is the back of the box on Play Asia.
Not listed on the box doesn't really make a difference. These games don't natively have English subs, just the option for it if your system language is set to English.
So it's worth someone giving it a try if they wanted to take a gamble on it
Does that PlayStation VITA TV box mean it is compatible? What does a Not Compatible one look like or does it not show it at all?
I'll definitely grab it when I do my next import order, wish I'd remembered it had been released sooner, as I placed an order from Nippon Yasan just last week!
Oh man that would be great, I'm really curious to know if they left the english subs in
Anyway, I've been watching videos of it and it looks totally playable. The main menu has only 2 options, then you choose your save data and then you play, straightforward action. Even if the dialogues are only in japanese they only appear sometimes a the beginning/ending of the levels and only 4-5 boxes of text, easily skippable
I'm sure going to get this game when I am in Japan next March
I bought the digital version from the US PSN for $0.99 last year, still haven't played it!
Unfortunately not… I asked the guys from Solaris Japan and they told me, that the Japanese release is a different (fully localized) version – only in Japanese.
How much space can english subs take?
I mean it's all good they translate the game to japanese but leave english in if the game was already made in english!!!
Did they test the game on an EU or US account? Because again, some of these games depend on system region for what subs you'll get.
I also received a response from the developer (Bergsala Lightweight):
No, not really… from a developer perspective it is much easier just to replace the English text and sound files.
Lazy they are
That's good to know. I was tempted to just import it anyway, but it would be nearly £40.00 & that can go towards LRG releases.
Well, bummer then. The game's not on EU PSN so I guess that's it for me
When I did software development it was easier/faster to just create and associate new files with existing tables (like most text/audio is) rather than start from scratch. They would be doing double the work to completely remove and replace it all. You also run an increased chance of new bugs when you remove existing files. My deadlines were more relaxed that most game developers, with them in crunch time it would make sense to leave it. Could have been any number of reasons they chose to remove it though.
Add to this licensing issues. Translations are sometimes done by sub-companies that keep the rights, in fact is really common to find this kind of issues regarding Japanese dubs in games, specilally in Falcom games
Could anyone please take a picture of the boxart of Hotline Miami? I would like to know if the name on the site of the box (I don't know how to call it ) is in Japanese or English.
The spine is in Japanese:

The game though plays in English if you play the game on a English Vita profile.
Thanks. Too bad it's in Japanese :/
Macross Delta Scramble
Looks playable to me & this video makes me want to get it badly!
Apparently there's 2 versions of this game:
- Regular edition with 20 songs
- Limited Edition with 50 songs
They have different covers
Found another one in the YT channel:
Princess wa Kane no Mouja
I think a few people here have imported that one. I take it that the extra songs with the LE are downloaded via the JPN PSN?
I would like to know that about the LE as well. Plan on picking this one up soon.
