I'm playing Uppers and I have seen that the trophies are displayed in english.

Do you guys know if any other Japanese games have the trophy list in english?

We might want to add Marginal #4 Road to Galaxy.

This is a japanese 1/2 visual novel 1/2 rhythm game.

I started with only 3 songs and have 7 after 1hr and 1/2 of playing.

Requires alot of skipping of dialog and must watch and unlock the story/side mission or play songs multiple times to unlock more.

Just stumbled upon this treasure and trying to figure out more still atm but definitely playable without english.

Will be trying to upload some pictures and videos to twitter and youtube under irishnerd47 if interested.

Music is fantastic so far. Atleast to me if that makes sense.

This one completely slipped under my radar. Thanks for the heads up, sounds like its similar to Bakamatsu Rock Ultra Soul - where you play through the VN part to unlock more songs. Definitely going to get this game ordered :)

Seen a video for "Itadaki Street Dragon Quest & Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary" @MoMoMo

Is it playable at all without reading japanese?

Marginal #4 Road to Galaxy added to the main list

It seems comparable to the PSP Version. You just have to "learn" the few menu items and you are good to go. Here is a gameplay video from BlueMaxima:

    Valkyria: Azure Revolution

Thanks to the Play-Asia promotion I discovered this game. Looks like a fun hack&slash

Marginal #4 Road to Galaxy. Still more to unlock but 21 songs now. Not sure if any more but absolutely deserving of list.

I've been short on funds and haven't picked up new japanese games but shame I haven't seen much in easy to play japanese games recommended list lately.

Might want to add Rabbit X Labyrinth if not all ready on list.

    Single screen puzzle game

Sadly we should probably think about when we want to add persona dance 3 and 5 to this list.

Is Marginal #4 Road to Galaxy a rhythm game or an otome?

The game plays like rhythm but the story sections definitely remind me of a VN.

You will just be a tapping it out to move story along for 5-6 mins.

I uploaded a bunch of the songs if you wanna see if you like the music first.

I consider it on the easy side of rhythm games.

Seeing all the fuzz with "Liar Princess and the Blind Prince" I have seen that Vita has a japanese physical copy:

    Usotsuki Hime to Moumoku Ouji

I was actually interested in this, as it sounded to me like lying was a gameplay mechanic, but no, it's not. The term Liar Princess comes from (not a spoiler, it's in the description) the wolf lying to the prince that she's a princess. It looks like pretty standard NIS fare, albeit with a cool art style.

We didn't even get a digital one for the Vita though right? Not so sure if this'll be too much fun without the dialogue...
